The Lakes

The northwest coast of Gran Canaria is famous for its vegetation, rock formations and views to the island of Tenerife. This route is one of our favourites. We will climb up to the summit of Caideros in a long and beautiful ascent, and then reach the area of The Lakes. The silence and peace that you breathe in this wonderful enclave will be something you will not forget. The roads have hardly any traffic and have been recently asphalted. We will stop in Artenara to regain strength and enjoy the descent to the famous village of Teror to rejoin the Carretera del Norte.
